Kat Jones is a Santa Fe Artist who works primarily in Oils. She was born in California (1967) and grew up in Centennial Colorado. Her work encompasses mostly Floral subjects and the many shapes and forms of trees. She also has started a series called Interstate Muse. These paintings are inspired by objects and scenery seen from highways. Kat also enjoys photography which she often uses for reference for her paintings.
She graduated from CU Denver with a fine arts degree. (1986–1990). Kat also studied with prominent artist, Kevin Weckbach from 2013 until 2020. She is an award winning artist and has shown her work at many Colorado galleries.
